New Year's Resolutions
It's the start of 2012: the year of our Baby S, the year I learn to cook, the year I commit to reading through the ENTIRE Bible within 365 days! So much to look forward to! Today was the first day of reduced hours at work. I'll be working this month to train my replacement. It felt amazing to no longer be the person completely responsible for all things insurance! (It almost feels like the last days of my teaching career - I actually enjoyed them.) The reduced hours allow me to spend more time at home, preparing for Baby S and working on recipes. My goals for meals include having a main course item (I know, you would think that this would be a given, but I don't consider a bowl of cereal a main course!), 2 sides and possibly a dessert. Brian and I both have terrible sweet tooths, so we'll have to be careful with the desserts that we make. As for my plan to read through God's Word, our pastor presented a chronological reading plan that seemed really interesting to me. The plan LOOKS daunting, but I know that God will bless my efforts with truths that encourage my soul to press forward!
